“We are food for worms, lads. Because believe it or not, each and everyone of us in this room, is one day going to stop breathing. Turn cold. And die.” – Robin Williams as John Keating in “Dead Poets Society.”

“Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” – Robin Williams as John Keating in “Dead Poets Society.”

I don’t know about you, but I have wasted a lot of my life up to this point. I am not where I want to be in various areas of my life. I am also to the point where I have a choice. I have a choice of how I am going to live and what I will make of the rest of the life I do have.

I want to live an extraordinary life. I want to live a life without any regrets. I want to make real, lasting changes that affect every part of my life to make it more extraordinary.

No one said it was easy. No one said it would always be “fun.” But at the end, I think most people who live extraordinary lives would say, “It was worth it.”

I want to live a life that was worth it.

How about you?

  1. What will you do with your one precious life? ๐Ÿ™‚ Running as fast we can to the things and people that set our souls on fire, creating art, rekindling hearts, and living for the Most High with all the passion we have ๐Ÿ‘Š Love this, Jason!!!

  2. Life is precious, absolutely. I’m slowly starting to learn ways to embrace it fully, and from what I read in your blog, I think you are doing the same, Jason ๐Ÿ™‚ Yay! We got this. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I think that every positive action we do towards another person, whether we consider it mind-blowing, life-changing or insignificant, makes a difference. A small cup of hot coffee you have purchased for someone who might be freezing may have been insignificant for you but it is a great blessing for that person. Do not think that your life is insignificant or that you are not living an extraordinary life because to those around you like your friends, family(especially your wife and kids), you are extremely extraordinary and awesome!
