“Sometimes you feel like a nut…”
Speaking of nuts, why are they called coconuts? That isn’t a nut right? Does anybody know?
If it is, doesn’t that spoil that Almond Joy and Mounds’ commercial? 😂
How do you say ‘pecans’?
pee-KAHNS
pee-CANS
PEE-cans
pick-AHNS
I pronounce it pick-AHNS. How about you? I was born and raised in Florida.

Nice. I’ve always pronounced them Pee-cons. I’ve also heard them pronounced peek-ans.

I’m from South Georgia and I pronoun it Pee-Can. We had an old pecan tree in the backyard and my mama used to make the best pecan pies! Ah, the memories!

Born and raised in Missouri we called it pick-ahns. but have lived in Montana for 13 years where they pronounce it pee-can. of course, they say crick instead of creek.
